Vintage Minette Teichmueller Texas Bluebonnet Farm Landscape Painting

Vintage distressed early 20th century oil on heavy paper bluebonnet and farmhouse landscape painting by Minette Teichmueller (1871-1970) Texas. Signed on verso, born in LaGrange, Texas married to Texas artist Hugo David Pohl. At age 67 and during the Great Depression, she was commissoned to paint the mural in the Smithville, Texas Post Office. Unframed, distressed condition with corner losses, repaired edge tears. Paper is a bit fragile, so handle with care, would look great with mat covering losses.
