Oil on board landscape by listed early Texas artist Hanna Walker (1876-1945). Born and raised in Luling Texas she studied under fellow
Texas artists Jose Arpa, Xavier Gonzalez, and Harry Anthony De Young. Her works have been included in exhibitions such as: Texas Artists Exhibition, San Antonio Art League (1926); Edgar B. Davis Competition, San Antonio (1927-29); Annual Texas Artists Exhibition, Fort Worth (1927); Elisabeth Ney Museum, Austin (1931). This painting was probably done during one of her frequent trips to Mexico and is a landscape with mountains and agave. Signed on the back Hannah Walker. Probably done in the 1920's or 30's. In an antique wood frame the image is 13.5" x 9.5".  Total size is 16.5"L x 13"H x 1"W.
